The Indiana Pacers honored Reggie Miller on Thursday night by raising his #31 to the rafters.
"I never imagined that I would earn my way to anyone's rafters," Miller said.
"You catapulted us into the elite of the NBA," Walsh told Miller during the ceremony. "You have been the heart and soul of this franchise for 18 years, and No. 31 deserves to go up with the best of the best."

The Indiana Pacers will retire Reggie Miller's famous #31 jersey, thanking the sharp shooting guard for 18 years of dedicated service, the Associated Press is reporting.
"When I came to Indiana, nobody knew what the Pacers were about," Miller said. "We were cellar dwellers for so long. I wanted people to think of us the way they thought about Chicago, Detroit, L.A."
Miller will be honored at halftime of the game against the Phoenix Suns.
"To know that No. 31 will be hanging from the rafters ... it'll be a special night," said Miller.
