Guard Eddie Jones could decide to retire rather than report to the Pacers following Friday's trade with Dallas involving forward Shawne Williams.
Coach Jim O'Brien said that he hadn't heard from Jones as of Sunday night. Indiana will play Memphis on Monday.
"I don't anticipate he'll meet us in Memphis," O'Brien said. "He was in a situation where he wasn't in Dallas' camp."
"We would like him in our camp, and we would like him on our team, unless he decides he doesn't want to play, and then that's something Larry and his agent are going to have to talk about."

The Dallas Mavericks have given former forward Shawne Williams an opportunity to turn his career around after an array of off-court incidents, and the former Pacer says he understands the importance and plans on repaying the team's faith in him, the Dallas Morning News is reporting.
"They laid it on the table of what's expected – zero tolerance," Williams said Sunday. "We got a great group of guys, and I feel them on that. I wouldn't want anybody coming in here and ruining this program either. They've been honest. They told me and I understand."
"I've got to be more professional. And this is a nice environment to be in."
Williams arrived in Dallas but could not yet practice because Eddie Jones had not yet reported in Indiana. The Mavericks are not expecting any problems with the trade going through.
