Wilcox Arrested On Handgun Charges

Clippers forward Chris Wilcox was arrested on Monday for carrying a gun in his car.

Wilcox could not provide proof the gun belonged to him or that he had a permit, police said. He was charged with transporting a handgun in a vehicle and was released on his own recognizance, police added. A passenger was not charged.

The officer found a .357-caliber revolver and a spent casing. Live ammunition and two spent shell casings also were in the car, police added.

Denver Looks To Use Their 20th And 22nd To Get To The Lottery

The Nuggets have become the sneakiest team in this year's draft. Since they hold both the 20th and 22nd pick of the draft, everything that happens in the final third of the first round pivots on what they decide to do.

However, Denver is not counting on finding that shooting guard they desire via free agency, so with the two picks, they could sneak into last part of the lottery and pick up the Clippers' number twelve pick, which would yield Martell Webster or Antoine Wright.
