Baron Davis has joined Marcus Camby on the sidelines with what the team is calling flu-like symptoms and will not make the trip to Oklahoma City to take on the Thunder tonight, the L.A. Times is reporting.

The Clippers have made their first two cuts this month, letting go David Noel and Dontell Jefferson.
Noel and Jefferson signed as free agents a few days before training camp opened.
"At certain positions, we have more of a need than others," Coach Mike Dunleavy said. "Right now, at the point guard spot, the three guys [Baron Davis, Jason Hart, and Mike Taylor] are pretty good, so we can lose one there, and we just have a ton of wings with Eric Gordon coming back.:
"That's just kind of the way it is."

According to a report in the L.A. Times, point guard Baron Davis looked sharp in his Clipper debut, offering some vocal leadership while leading his team to a 107-80 win over the Lakers.
"It's good to play against someone besides yourselves," David said after the win. "We've been going at each other for the last two weeks. We know we've got a long ways ahead. This is no indication."
