Bucks' Van Horn out against RocketsMILWAUKEE (AP) Keith Van Horn sat out Sunday's game between the Milwaukee Bucks and Houston Rockets with a sprained left ankle and bruised left calf. He was injured Friday in the first quarter against the Chicago Bulls. Van Horn has averaged 18 points and seven rebounds in 19 games for the Bucks. He came to Milwaukee from the New York Knicks in a trade last month. Read the Full Story Discuss Send Feedback Buy Tickets Kohl foresees need for new arenaMilwaukee Bucks owner Herb Kohl said Tuesday that it did not make sense to spend $50 million to $100 million to remodel the Bradley Center and said the community would have to discuss in the future the need for a new arena. The Democratic U.S. senator, noting that it had been a joy this season to own the team, said spending millions more to remodel the facility "would not extend its useful life." Rather, he said, the Bradley Center board ought to consider more modest upgrades to the building that will generate new revenue for the Bucks. Kohl said the Bucks were interested in a new, eight-year lease with the Bradley Center - "A decent lease," he said - that would include more revenue from concessions and suites and the possible addition of club seats. Then what? "After that, the community has to decide what to do with the NBA in Milwaukee," Kohl said. Right now, he added, "The community is not in the mood to talk about a new facility." Ford was the scene of a drug raid by police Tuesday morning but authorities indicated that the NBA rookie was not the target of the investigation. Ford's condominium, in the 2300 block of E. Edgewood Ave., was searched by a metro drug unit and Ford has been ordered to appear before the district attorney, but he is not the "primary focus" of the investigation, a law enforcement source said. According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel some items were seized during the search but there were no arrests nor were the seized items disclosed. Ford, currently out of the Bucks lineup with a spinal cord bruise, was on the bench as Milwaukee played the Portland Trail Blazers - a team familiar with legal trouble, but did say "I don't have anything to hide" from the locker room after the game. Ford was ordered to appear before the district attorney but it wasn't clear when. Such an order is typical after a search, according to a source speaking to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. The team released a statement and officials, including Milwaukee Coach Terry Porter, declined futher elaboration. "We are aware of the situation in which T.J. Ford was questioned by the local authorities," the statement said. "He has not been charged and is cooperating fully. The authorities have informed us that he is not the subject of their investigation." "That release says everything that needs to be said about the situation," Porter said in a meeting with reporters before the game. "We'll deal with it the best we can and move on. We've still got to play a basketball game. We have to focus on trying to get into the best possible playoff position we can get in."
