Webber Staying in Sacramento?

Marc Berman of the New York Post (yes, a New York paper is reporting this) writes that there are signs that Chris Webber will re-sign with Sacramento. Berman cites sources close to Webber in addition to the fact that Webber has not hired an agent yet (he fired his agent during the season).

Still, that hasn't stopped the Knicks from collecting videotaped pleas from Samuel L. Jackson, Ananda Lewis, rapper Eve and, of course, Spike Lee. Why not borrow an idea from the Bulls and just take Webber to a Mets game?

Knicks Miss Out Again, and Again, and Again...

Shareef Abdur-Rahim, Mike Bibby and Elton Brand all found new homes on draft night. Yesterday, Jason Kidd and Stephon Marbury were renting U-Haul's. Not surprisingly, none found their way to New York.

Frank Isola of the New York Daily News writes that it will likely be a long summer in New York. So long, in fact, that the focus seems to shift towards Raef LaFrentz and Maurice Taylor now.
