Philadelphia has been forced to undergo some lineup changes with second-year forward Marreese Speights out with a knee injury. Jason Smith was running with the first team, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. "We went through a normal practice today and we always change our lineups in practice. Certainly [Jason] Smith will get more time at center. Elton will get some time at center and Primoz will be activated so we think we're pretty well covered," coach Eddie Jordan said of the practice rotation. Jordan added that Brand was playing center with the second unit and smiled when asked about lineup changes heading into Wednesday's game against the Bobcats. Speights suffered a partial tear of the MCL in his left knee on Saturday night, leaving Philadelphia's roster thin. "We're looking at lists of potential players and options," general manager Ed Stefanski said. "I wouldn't see us making a quick move. We'll see how it goes. You never want to see a kid get hurt, but this presents an opportunity for someone to step up or someone to get extra time." For the time being, the team's rotation will likely change.
