Miles Refuses To Talk To Media, Will Let His Game Do The Talking

Wechsler said Miles' knees are fine and that he has been working out, but at an undisclosed place that only he and the Blazers know of. Aldridge had the surgery done in Los Angeles. The team said it expects him to start rehabilitation within three weeks and return to the basketball court in mid-to-late November. The surgery will be preformed by Dr. Neal Elattrache in Los Angeles. Recovery time will be determined following the procedure. The 6-11 Dallas native averaged 11.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.8 blocks in five games during the 2006 Vegas Summer League. The Trail Blazers acquired Aldridge (second pick overall) and a future second-round draft pick from the Chicago Bulls for forward Viktor Khryapa and the draft rights to Tyrus Thomas (fourth pick overall) on June 28, 2006. Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, the second overall pick in the June draft, underwent surgery Wednesday to repair a ligament tear in his right shoulder and will miss the start of the regular season.
