"I just decided it was time to hang it up. I really wasn't able to perform over the past few years like I was the first 10 years," he said. "It was time. "For 12 years -- really 16 years -- you've been on a schedule where you know what's going to happen every day for the next seven months," said the 34-year-old Grant.
