Will Portland Wheel And Deal?

Nate McMillan will have Greg Oden and yet another lottery pick when the 2008-09 season starts, but he's still not content with the team's roster, according to HoopsWorld.

"I think experience," said McMillan when asked about what the team really needs heading into next season. "We were one of the youngest teams in the league this year, and I think experience will help us. Going through this year has helped. We'll add on two young players in Greg (Oden) and Rudy (Fernandez) and perhaps a draft pick, so I think we need to add some experience to the roster."

"I won't get into that," McMillan said of possible moves. "But there are a number of options we can go to. We're going to have a draft pick, a pretty good pick (13 overall), and we've got some second round picks (33, 34 and 54) so Kevin will get into that pretty soon and we'll start talking about that."

"With us, and Kevin, we will always look at ways to improve the team. And if there are ways or opportunities to, then we're going to look at it and see if it makes sense for us. And that's what you've got to do," he added.

Frye Hopes To Remain In Portland

Channing Frye understands that basketball is more a business than anything else, but he still hopes to remain a member of the Blazers, according to Hoopsworld.

"I hope so. I always hope," Frye told HoopsWorld when asked about remaining in Portland.

"But at the same time if something happens and they (Blazers' management) feel they've got to make an opportunity better for them, I'm not going to take it personally. I want to be here. I think I'm going to be here, but you always have to have that kind of attitude."
