The Sacramento Kings have released rookie free agents Louis Amundson and Justin Williams, it was announced by Kings President of Basketball Operations Geoff Petrie.
Amundson averaged 0.3 points and 2.7 rebounds in six games. Williams averaged 1.3 points and 2.3 rebounds in six outings. The Kings roster now stands at 14 players.

Sacramento Kings center Brad Miller injured his right hand last night in the Kings’ 117-93 preseason win over the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets. An X-ray taken this afternoon revealed the injury as a small chip fracture in his fifth finger on his right hand. He is listed as day-to-day.

After injuring his right thumb in an exhibition game Sunday night, Mike Bibby is expected to miss the first two weeks of the regular season.
Bibby has a mallet thumb, which is when a finger tendon becomes detached from a bone, preventing the finger from fully extending.
