Afer saying in yesterday's papers that $7 million would not be sufficient to keep him in San Antonio, Derek Anderson has softened his stance, according to Johnny Ludden of the San Antonio Express News. Though Anderson wouldn't name a price range, he did say he never asked for the max ($9.9 million to start). He emphasized that he wants to remain a Spur and that he and the Spurs should be able to work it out.
