Spurs Will Take Wait And See Approach With Manu's New Deal

Manu Ginobili is entering the final season of his contract and Spurs general manager R.C. Buford says there is no firm timetable for talking to Ginobili about a new one.

“It could happen during the season, or it might happen after,” Buford said. “We'll just have to see.”

Ginobili is well into his 30s and has a history of injury problems, but the Spurs realize his value when healthy.

Bogans Signs One-Year Deal With Spurs

The Spurs have signed veteran guard Keith Bogans to a one-year, $1.03 million deal.

San Antonio is hoping that Bogans will be able to fill the void left behind by Bruce Brown, who they traded to the Bucks and then retired earlier this summer.

Like Bowen, Bogans has a reputation for being a strong defender.
