Orlando Sentinel writer Tim Povtak reports that Orlando is exploring ways to get under the salary cap by up to 9 million to lure Antonio Davis (who told the Raptors on Wednesday, he was opting out of his contract that had 2 years and 15 million remaining on it) to Orlando this offseason. The Magic can get to that figure if Andrew Declercq opts out of his contract (Which Realgm doesn't expect him to do) and Bo Outlaw, Michael Doleac, and one of Orlando's 2 first round picks (15 and 23) were dealt to a team with cap room.

Vince Carter has made it clear. Talking to The Fan today, Carter said that re-signing with the Raptors is something he will consider once his contract expires after next season and not before. ''I'm not going to let anybody rush me to make a decision. It's a big decision in my life, I don't want to be rushed,'' Carter told the radio station.
