Toronto Raptors WiretapBosh Is Tired Of Being Disrespected
"Every day I turn on the TV and they're talking about guys, especially my draft class, '03 draft class, and this and that," he said. "They keep bringing up all these and I never hear my name, unless I'm like second honorable mention or something like that. I got tired of that. "I don't even think people know I've made all-star teams or know what I've done in this league." Bosh is averaging 26.8 points and 12.3 rebounds this season. He ranks seventh in scoring and second in rebounding. "I always thought of myself as a good basketball player, but after a while I really wanted to turn the corner. "I wanted to do the necessary work to make sure I put myself in a situation to be successful." Read the Full Story Discuss Send Feedback Buy Tickets Bosh On Free Agency: Anything Is Possible

Bosh is averaging a career-high 26.4 points and 11.8 rebounds this season and the Raptors aren't ready to let him go. "We're still the best partner for him to get the deal whether it's staying with us or getting it somewhere else or playing it out somewhere else," Toronto general manager Bryan Colangelo said. "So we're the conduit. We're the best partner. We're not going to put the pressure on him to make a decision right now. It's really not the right time even for us. He's playing at an all-time level. ... I'm happy for him. I'm happy for us because we're in a better position to win basketball games."
