In addition, the team placed guard Juan Dixon (right ankle sprain) and center Peter John Ramos (right plantar fasciitis) on the injured list. Brown has played in 14 games this season, averaging 5.6 points and 3.4 rebounds on 50.8 percent shooting from the field. The fourth-year pro has had two different stints on the injured list this season, missing the first 12 games with a broken bone in his right foot and another 26 contests with a right ankle tendon strain and a posterior right ankle impingement. Hughes sustained a fractured right thumb against Phoenix (1/15) and missed the Wizards’ next 17 games. He is the lone player in the NBA to average 21 points, six rebounds, five assists and 2.5 steals per game. Hughes is leading the league with 2.82 steals per game. Dixon played in 46 games with three starts prior to sustaining a right ankle sprain at Houston (2/15). In his third season, Dixon is averaging 8.8 points, 2.2 rebounds and two rebounds in 16.9 minutes per contest.
