James Harden sprained his right ankle when stepping on Chris Paul's foot, which caused him to crumble to the floor.

Harden stayed in the game with just 3:57 remaining in the fourth quarter.

“It looked like he sprained it pretty bad, looking at it,” Kevin McHale said. “He’s a tough young man. He takes a lot of beating. He’s on the floor a lot. He gets knocked down. He’s very resilient. He just sucked it up and played. He brought it home.”

Harden left the arena limping badly.

“It’s pretty sore right now,” Harden said. “I’ll get some rest, ice it, get some rest tomorrow and hopefully be ready to go Friday. I just got up and walked it off.”
