Let's go, the motown kitties are in the ALCS.

The A's series was fun, but Boston is a better team in my mind. Place your bets here.

Tigers in 5

Albuquerque got gifted a strikeout there. We'll take it! 1-0, 2 innings to go!

Going into the 9th, this game could as easily become a no-hit win as it could a devastating loss.

This should be Cabrera batting in the 9th with runners on 2nd and 3rd :(

Wow, what an intense game.

Great win, and the reality is that we're going to be facing the dilemna with Cabrera in every close game from here on out. His lack of mobility makes him largely useless as a base runner and marginalizes his already iffy defense, so he'll always be a candidate for pinch running and defensive replacement in late games.

In other words, get used to it, I'm afraid.

Huge win,the first game is always crucial, to knock out their best picture was amazing.

Sanchez was on tonight for sure

Well. That's a tough one to swallow. Need to win game 3, rely on Fister in game 4.

You guys got completely screwed on that non-call for fan interference. If you watch the BACK SIDE CAMERA (the one shooting down the line from home plate), not the front side they kept showing where it looked like there was no interference, you can clearly see a) a fan reaches his fingers into the wristband of Fielder's glove, b) he does this well before the ball arrives, and c) it clearly alters the direction of Fielder's glove. Again, from the other angle it looks like there's no interference until after the ball arrives, but it's definitely there from the other angle. I cannot believe Fielder didn't protest that more angrily, and get Leland involved, to at least get the umps to review it. That really could have cost them the game.

All tied up, Game 5, who's excited!

Think I'm going to have to go scalp a ticket, should be a good one.

^ That was pure gold.

Gah, so nervous right now...we needed those insurance runs, don't trust our bullpen at all.

Not looking forward to the bullpen at all. Not with this little of a lead.

I blame Leyland for both grand slams. Well, season over.

Just not enough firepower without a healthy Miggy. Rest up and hopefully our starters can have similar success next year.

We need to invest in middle relief, move on from Peralta, a therapist for Fielder, and steal Ellsbury from Boston.

Also Dombrowski/Leyland/Illitch need to open up their thinking about player they bring on. Not everyone should be a star, you should have a Jonny Gomes or players like that.

Peralta is gone, Nick will be replacing him next season more than likely.

Hopefully Rondon can show something at move to closer, so Benoit can go back to the setup man role.

I think the mismanagement of Miggy's injury really hurt us this post season, he just wasn't the same.....
