Zoom injury?

What exactly happened here? The papers are making it sound he could be out for quite a while, which would be a huge blow.

Will Carroll at Baseball Prospectus said it's a simple dislocation so he could come back after 15 days. However, if there is any tendon or soft tissue damage, he might be out longer and it could affect his conrol and speed because he uses his middle finger on every one of his pitches. I would just wait and see what happens. mahalo

Zoom is back to throwing a baseball and he is hopeful to return by Mid-August. I'm not sure about Rodney, but its no big loss not having him in the game at this point. McBride has been doing just fine setting up for Jones to come in and close out games.
