Somehow I think we're going to drop the ball in one of these games or two. I'll be content with 2/3, but we easily should be able to come out with another sweep.

I feel the offense is due for a couple bad games, we are continuing to strike out far too much as a team, it cost us a little bit at times last year and is continuing to haunt us this season.

Then again, the power hasn't quite been there yet either, maybe we're due for some home-runs? I really don't know...

i think a 2/3 is expected..i mean in baseball, no matter how much better one team is than another, its just a crazy sport..

guys like cantu and bennifacio have got to cool down eventually...but you gotta think even with 2-3 runs per game we should take the nats easily..

Bonerface has K'd 7 out of his last 10 ABs... the scouting report is getting out on him?
he needs to adjust

Awesome win, we probably shouldn't have won this game but we did.

Unfortunately it looks like Ricky is coming back down to earth after his stellar season last year. I was afraid of this... his stuff just isn't dominant enough where he can go out there and get outs just by throwing. He has to have pinpoint location to do what he was doing last year.

agreed, Nolasco doesn't seem like himself mentally, I wonder if the pressure is getting to him

that being said, he still only gave up 2 runs with less than stellar stuff

bullpen is 15+ IP on the road trip without giving up a run

let's see another strong performance from JJ today plz, Hanley and Bonerface start hitting again

Great win! Didn't get to see the game as Wash is one of the blacked out teams up here, but saw the hilights this morning.

Bonafacio needs to start hitting and getting on base again. And, Hanley needs to start hitting. These 2 make it easier one everyone else getting better pitches to hit, but if their off, then our entire team is off, too.

9-1 record, best in baseball! Can't complain, at all.

the over/under in Vegas before the season was 76 wins

they only need to go 67-85 the rest of the way to make that

his first inning he got smacked around, then he settled into his groove... which was great because they already said they weren't using Leo or Lindstrom today, and we ended up using the rest of the 'pen. The 6 he went were great, instead of falling apart in the 2nd which he could have.

VolSTUD tomorrow for the sweep! And a 6-0 start to a road trip!

Is hermida starting to live up to the player so many said he would be when he was called up?

i recall peter gammons and tim kurkijan gushing over him some years back.

First JJ gets rocked in the 1st inning, now Volstad comes out shaky, gives up a couple runs, 32 pitch inning. It feels like we're fighting fate by continuing to win games.
