I'm a little worried about Weaver...he can barely hit 87mph with his fastball anymore. Let's hope his command stays elite, otherwise we're in serious Lakers.

at least hamilton got going. the rate at which they're leaving runners on base is just demoralizing. feels like april 2012 all over again.

I'm alot worried about Weaver and even more-so our whole starting rotation. Outside of Garrett Richards, we don't really have any nice pitching prospects ready for the Majors. Bourjos and Trumbo won't make it through this season as Angels.

Weaver placed on 15-day DL with a broken left elbow. He is said to miss 4-6 weeks.

yeah, my freaking wife sent me like 10 texts about it this morning. i was busy so when i got to my phone i thought someone had died before reading them.

anyway, i'm getting ready to head out to the stadium. we'll see what the buzz is regarding weaver. either way, gives us a nice break from worrying about his fastball going down to 84-87 when it was 89 last yr.

Wow... unbelievable. A's get 3 runs after 2 out and nobody on.. Angels get 0 runs after bases loaded and nobody out.

the thing that hurts the most is that all these superstar acquisitions with huge expectations just flop in unbelievable ways. pujols flopped all of april to the point of getting booed, dwight is flopping, nash freaking flopped which hurts my heart, and josh hamilton is flopping the worst of all so far.

thank god almighty for mike trout. it was fun tonight getting the MVP! MVP! chants going. i was sitting right next to the trout farm, looks like fun.

I can't imagine how these great owners feel after shelling out hundreds of millions of dollars to have this happen to them.

I wonder how much longer Scioscia has with the organization.

The worst thing is that I'm not even surprised because Blanton was scheduled to pitch. I guess this is what happens when you lose 3/5th of last years' rotation, and your ace is on the 15-day DL. We're in serious trouble if we don't make a move soon. Hopefully last season taught management a lesson.

trout moved down to 2nd in the order, callaspo leading off. this after news of a team meeting. team is in total panic mode...and i like it.
