Increased Concern with Urias

Ranma wrote:Admittedly, I wasn't overly concerned with the way the Dodgers were handling Julio Urias since they were treating him with kid gloves, but I did object to the organization switching him back and forth from starter to reliever and the inconsistent pitching routine that entails. Now it looks like Nosler's noted lack of planning for Julio may have been responsible for his current injury, which is now triggering more worry than before.

shoulder is a tricky business, but we brought Ryu back. Ryu had not only a shoulder surgery but an elbow surgery too in last couple of seasons. Urias is younger, the problem is lesser. of course he won't pitch this year and I don't expect him next year, but in 2019, look out.

im not as worried, and i think this will give him much needed rest. this kid at 23,24 years of age, we will have a savvy, uber talented pitcher with much less mileage on him than others.

I’m really happy to see him back and looking good.

If he didn’t go down last year, dodgers probably don’t get darvish and they might have won it all

Very possible.

Hopefully the shoulder isnt a big deal moving forward and he and Buehler form a formidable young duo in our rotation for next year.

So cool to see him pitch a clean inning in a clutch moment during the NLCS.
