I think that's a very bad decision by Bickerstaff. I get that Wade hasn't been doing all that great from a scoring standpoint, but one of the reasons why is because his defender usually refuses to leave him alone. He's always going to draw attention from defenders. This takes Strus out of the two guard spot where he's been thriving, and it takes Craig Porter JR away from the bench where he's thrived. But most importantly, you lose Wade's defense, which has been a key reason for the great defense the Cavaliers have had over the past few games.

I just don't get this decision. Very very questionable on JB's part.

I think we saw last night that teams can take advantage of our lack of playmaking when we don't have two of Levert, Mitchell, or Garland on the floor at the same time.

I guess to me, it was either LeVert or CPJ if you want to make sure another playmaker is on the floor in the starting line-up

You obviously hate to lose in blowout fashion especially after some of the really good wins we’ve had, but it’s hard to put much stock into losing a game on the night of a back to back, especially against one of the hottest teams in the league (who continue to prove me wrong time and time again). They’re coming out of a trio of games against Denver, Philly and Miami and you’re telling me they won two of them? Yeah I’ll take that any day of the week.

Wade was on the injury report. This was a bit of a schedule loss, but this was one of the most one-sided officiated games I've ever witnessed. If you want to call everything, even the ones you're only imagining, that's fine. If you want to call nothing, that's fine. But the Heat are one of the most physically aggressive teams in the NBA, we're playing at home, and they're going to line on some real garbage. It's really frustrating to repeatedly have that type of disadvantage at home. This was a sold out game and half the fans left before the 4th quarter. It's really not a good product when this happens.

Adam Silver doesn't care, he got an OT game for his precious in-season tournament on national TV the night before.

Well, JB played 11 guys 9:10+, albeit in a blowout loss but that might be a career record for him lmao

In fairness, the guys 11-15 aren't really meant to see regular minutes. They're basically injury insurance. For the vast majority of teams, there's a huge gap between your second and third string players. Usually if you have a guy who's good enough to see regular minutes, he doesn't stay third string for very long.

Aye, JB was the guy who said last month he was gonna go 11 deep every night this season, knowing spot 15 was empty and spot 14 was allocated to a holdout.

Pop and Kerr have built a reputation on going 10 to 12 deep every night in the regular season, so idk if i can fully agree with ya.
