Captain Erv's Bold Prediction: The Brewers have started their 10-game homestand in dominating fashion, going 6-1. We don't want to fall into a trap here against the worst team in baseball. Step on the Nat's throats right away and keep in on there and finish this homestand 9-1. However, 8-2 would be very much acceptable.

The nationals are horrible, they can't score any runs and that pitcher doesn't look too good either. GO BREWERS!

Include me in that list.

24-10 would put us over the .700 winning percentage for the first time in a VERY long time.
"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed." - Michael Jordan

When did Dimitri Young become a Nat?

This is a classic trap series. A sweep would be great but we MUST go at least 2-1.

I'll never be upset with a 2-1 series win.

if we win the series thats cool with me....hey remembe guys even when the brewers sucked they were able to steal some games against one of te best teams, so don't get pissed if we lose one ok. Just remember we were once like the Nats.

Like the Meatloaf song. 2 out of 3 aint bad. Ill take it every single time. But a sweep would make me a lot happier. This is the worst talent team in baseball. We should be able to have a chance at the sweep

Can't let up now. Let's take these guys, then we have Soup, Sheets and Cappy vs. the Mets.

With Bush going tomorrow night we need to win the opener.

This is just an idea. I wonder if ned is thinking about moving billy down to like the 5th or 6th spot till he gets his swing back. and take some of the pressure off of him.

i really think that prince should be our cleanup hitter and not billy and then we can move hart up to 3rd... Hall just isn't cutting it and look what prince did yesterday!!

Why would you want Hart hitting 3rd?

I actually got nervous there for a second. Cordero is filthy though so maybe I shouldn't have been worried. Another awesome start by Cappy and once again we had enough offense to win. We could have had a few more runs tonight but hopefully they will get those when they need them.

5 wins for Cappy and Suppan. Can they both be 20 game winners?
