Broom Time...Again

Cliff Lee was the hottest pitcher in MLB going into today's game. Now he's just the Twins latest victim. Glen Perkins isn't having the type of year that Lee's having. It's just that he won again today buy keeping it close, throwing strikes & wriggling out of jams.

The GREYHOUNDS(my new nickname for Punto, Span, Go-Go & Casilla) were a combined 4 for 13, a nice enough average but hardly eyepopping. Except that I didn't tell you that they drove in all 4 Twins runs.

Contrary to what Dayn Perry says, this team, despite all the lefty sticks, is built right. They are for real. Now it's just a matter of them sustaining the level they're playing on.
