A lot of national media I've heard say that right now ARod should be MVP after his hot power stroke being added to the lineup (likely some exaggeration, I understand. I think our two sluggers have something to say about that.
Rodriguez (15 games) - .204 avg, 7 HR, 13 RBI
Morneau (44 games) - .343 avg, 12 HR, 36 RBI
Mauer (21 games) - .429 avg, 9 HR, 28 RBI

In 2006, Morneau and Mauer finished 1 and 6 in the MVP voting. In 2008, they finished 2 and 4. So this is nothing new, but I will say at this point they are both having career seasons.

Two words: it's May.
If the starters don't figure it out they can have career seasons but we'll be right around .500 and not in the playoffs so neither of them will have to worry about any awards.
