Not sure why it angers you, the playoffs were an unrealistic goal for this team from day one with their weak bullpen and depending on adam eaton and freddy garcia.
Mid 80 wins, missing the playoffs, that's what the phillies do.
The wildcard probably comes from the NL West, and barring major injuries, I think the world series rep should come from the west as well...i wouldn't be surprised to see two NL West teams in the NLCS
