Killed on the boards the whole game, and win by 3 consecutive offensive boards and Green 3.
Great job boys, sweatened the bad taste from the last game.

Mission complete. One thing I hate is losing to the Knicks. Being a New Yorker my phone blows up anytime we play the Knicks. Thank you team for a peaceful night

I am so completely out on this team after last night's Memphis game and until we make a trade. An absolute joke of a big man rotation.

Nevermind.

We have another team owner on the team, The New York Knickerbockers franchise owner, Mr Kyrie Irving.

Maybe Luka should sit a few more games so Hardy and Green can increase their trade value.

More faith in your 41Dirk41 guy... Knicks are on the path for mediocrity because Brunson/OG/Randle are good 2nd/3rd options.

Luka and Kyrie are 1A and 1B. Too good.

Mr Kyrie Irving and a bunch of role players.
That's the game. Unreal.
THJ 3s, G-Will hustle and defense, DJJ dunks and deflections,Green big shoot.

Imagine this team with a backup C and a coach in those games.... It would be great.
Well done guys. Proud of you. Big heart.

Well I wasn't expecting to wake up to that result. Looks like Ky was amazing and Green seems to play well next to Kyrie with Luka out for the second time in recent weeks now?

Agreed, this team isn't miles of from being a fringe contender. A backup C and slightly less boneheaded coaching would make a HUGE difference in the W/L columns.

Kyrie is a Locker room leader, he setted the tone after Memphis loss and in the first 2minutes of this game.

And mostly when Luka is injuried or hangovered he MUST sit. Thank you Kidd.

Much needed win. Always happy for a win (except last year when we needed the pick), but a win against NYK is extra sweet. But man, they once again took their foot off the pedal, need to stop doing that

How cool is it to have a guy that can do this?

There's no doubt about the finish (yes looking at you Grant, Jaden, Timmy etc)

Josh Green

There was so much on the line yesterday for Kyrie.
Brunson is the prodigal son who haven't returned, and Kyrie replaced him, he needed to show he's better, there were 2 plays I remember vividly, Brunson makes a great drive and tough finish, Kyrie immidiately goes and drives and has even better finish, Brunson isos on the 3pt line and hits a pull up 3, Kyrie immediately takes the inbound dribbles up the floor and answers.
Just a great game, that thank God ended with a win.
Despite Brunson stat line, it was Randle that kept them in the game in the 3rd quarter, and it was Randle who created the mismatches that led to 2 3s to cut the lead late in the game.

Luckily the former is just the owner of a lot of money... Not the Mavs, not anymore.

I definitely think Kyrie wanted to really put his mark on this game. But Kyrie has a history of playing very well versus NY because he's essentially a NYer from NJ. Second, Luka was out and the Mavs just had a bad loss. So, I think Kyrie wanted to play well for various reasons, but so did Jalen. However, I wouldn't go as far to say there was " so much on the line for Kyrie". That's a step too far.

Kyrie is probably from a offensive skill perspective - the most talented offensive player in the league. He doesn't have anything to prove to over zealous fans or media folks that creative and play into false narratives. The only thing Kyrie really needs to prove at this point in his career is that he can win a champion with the mavs.

Very good team effort.
Kyrie can still ball like always. When he's focused he's zoned in.
