Btw, that play by Luka making that pass to Exum is what MVPs are made of. Luka has played through injuries, without Kyrie, and has scored 73pts in a season - 3rd or 4th (not 100% sure) only to Kobe and Wilt. If Mavs get to 50 wins, I hope Luka gets MVP this year. I do think anyone else has an over compelling case, so I hope he gets it.

Lively is better at playing 4v3 when other teams double Luka

Maxi in general is even better for offense.

General board thinks it's going to Jokic again, guess we'll see. It's between those two and no one else IMO.

Once we get there I hope they just rest Luka the rest of the season. I'd rather get 6 because I think Denver is getting 1 seed.

Agree, if we can get those 2, rest all the starters. Plus it would give THJ and Maxi time to get kinks out, and guys like Hardy and even Omax some much needed time. And we'll see Dwight take another hit to the face

That number shrinks to 1 if Suns beat Pelicans, but they're losing right now at half time.

Can we agree that Kidd did a great job today in rotation, calling timeout, challenging, and critical plays?
The last several minutes in 4th and overtime to rest Luka, even Kyrie and protect him from 6th fouls.

He did a good job today, I agree. I'm not one to defend Kidd most of the time but he deserves praise today. For the most part, he pushed all the right buttons today.

Game of the year for the Mavs!

Smith completely choked for Houston on the late free throws. I thought Luka was going to chuck a highly contested deep three. Glad he trusted Exum!

Was really hoping Clippers would lose, damn!

Me too. It really reminded me of the Dinwiddie game winner from a couple years ago. Great job by Luka to trust his teammate and make the right play.

Mavs have won 14 of last 16. Doesn’t this wining coincide with the starting lineup change too? Gafford over Lively, DJJ over Green?

PJ was so impressive today too. Shot wasn’t falling early but still had a huge impact on the game. What a huge upgrade over Grant Williams.

Every chance we had to catch the Ciippers just fell through, like when they lost a game we barely lost to GS, then when they should have lost to Denver without Kawhi they beat them and then they came back from 26 down to beat the Cavs. Oh well, most likely we'll be facing them and they'll have HCA, bring it on.

THANKS GOD WE TRADED FOR KYRIE!!!!!

Luka looks completely gassed in the 4th and OT, rest him next games. We need him fresh and healthy in PO.

Exum with another clutch 3s. He has a mission this year.

A couple of 3s by P-Jail to close the game.

Maxi played decent by he has to male those wide open 3s, i hope Lively will come back soon. We badly need him.

Bye bye Dillon the villan and casual fans

Kyrie's at 49.6/41/91, 25/40 in the next 2 games and he's a member of the very prestigious 50/40/90 club for the 2nd time of his career.
On Bird, Mark Price, Reggie Miller, Nash, KD, Steph and Malcolm Brogdon did it at least once.
Only Bird, Nash and KD did it multiple times.
Dirk had 50/40/90 in his MVP season, but didn't meet the minimum 3PM requirement.

I don't really care if are 4th or 5th. We had our chances to catch them.
I just like these close crazy games because these are buidling confidence and team chemistry
On the other side Clippers themselves had a couple of crazy comebacks and close wins. Now they have Russell Westbrook back.
It is getting interesting. I am not scared but I have a lot of respect.

But really no team in the world wants to play the mavs right now and the media is giving them a lot of credit and praise lately.
