If you told the 7 game homestand would end 5-2 I'd be OK with it, but given how things went down, it's a missed opportunity.

I mean how do you explain this team? Lose to the Pels without their 3 best players, but beat then when they play.

Cause the 3 was falling and Lively got the rebounds...when they hit from 3 ,they win.... it's really not that complicated...but how many games will Timmy score 41 with 9 of 15 from three? Or Josh 3 od 5 from three? That's why this team is so bipolar, they live and die by the three.... unfourtunately that means when the shots aren't falling, they really don't have any answer for how to win

Mavs plays up to or down to the opposition. Easiest way to win vs mavs is rest your best players

The three is a huge factor but the whole energy was different. They also played Kyrie off ball a lot with Green playing bringing the ball up.
And Lively is just the biggest game changer. We would've not taken that lead in the end without his massive OREBs.

Yea sadly you're not exaggerating or wrong at all. To me, that begins with coaching. But Kidd will never take ownership of his shortcomings

The energy was different cause the shots were falling...if some of those didn't fall, some of the players would also let their heads hang low...they showed more effort, more energy, but if Timmy didn't go crazy from three,if he had a normal game, this would have been a blowout

That's why they need to ship Green out while someone still thinks he has an upside

I really hope they do. It's OK to admit the 2020 draft was a failure and chalk full of mistakes. Pivot and improve the team

Makes sense on why the Hornets would want him, but there's no actual rumor of them being interested at this point.

Please let this be true and pull the trigger. If we can get PJ, ideal. But even Nic Richard's would be beneficial

Who knows how official it is,there are rumors about trade targets for every team out there...but it seems that there were teams interested in Josh, it just looks like they offered Little or nothing in exchange for him, otherwise I don't see him being that important that he'd be off the table...who knows

It's easy, THJ has to score 40+, mostly difficult shots, for Mavs to win.

He has scored efficient 32 against New York too, so there's a pattern.

I'm alittle confused on Josh Greens value moneywise in a trade .With his new contract is a 13 million contract attached to his trade value now that January 15th is here. ?

its ppp. So basicly it counts as his old money for mavs, but his new salary for the other team, making it really difficult unless its a 3 team+ trade

If a team wants to trade for Green this year, they have to match his current salary which is a bit over 4M. Next year if a team wants to trade for him they'll have to match his next salary which will be around 13.5M.

Basically THJ replaced what Luka usually does, which is score big. But Luka also obviously does other things aswell. If THJ played like this every game, Mavs would literally have 3 superstars capable of scoring a combined 90pts each game lol...

That hacking foul on Zion was the smartest decision in Kidd coach career, i don't understand why they don't do the same against Gobert.
A player who shoots 50% from the FT can't stay on the floor.

Great W. Kyrie and THJ killers.
Josh with another big bucket.
Finally some big lineups.

Return to Dallas Mavericks
