RS 23/24 - Mavs @ Cavaliers (Tuesd., 7PMEST)

Post#1 » by Dirk » Mon Feb 26, 2024 11:10 am

We suck again.

Maybe they'll play with a different energy. Less silly turnovers and more effort on defense through the whole game. Or maybe not.

“Give them credit,” Dallas coach Jason Kidd said. “They were making shots. We’ll learn from it.”

Exum being a pass 1st PG is needed as Luka and Kyrie are expected to be the point getters on this Mavs team. The last game the Mavs played they only got 15 team assists. Exum might not get the direct assists but he moves the ball .

Time to see if we can bounce back, a trait only good team displays.

ps. dork is ignored.

Is he going to be back for this game?

It's a good test for the Mavs, bounce back game.
Let's go Mavs.

I was surprised about the PJ "love fest" lately.

.190 from 3, other teams will soon just let him shoot. He's not even good at creating his shot. He fakes a 3 and then runs to the rim to take a bad contested shot.

Yeah, he gives you more versatility on defense, but you can get a 6'7 average defender who can hit more 3s for cheaper than a 1st.
I'm still hoping I'm wrong about not liking the trade.

I also hope the energy is there and the defense steps up against the Cavs.

Will be intresting to see how mavs do. Bounce back from last game? Revenge game for last time they met? They didnt use to suit mavs due their inside size, but not that worried now with lively and gafford. Mitchell isnt usually a problem for mavs

Lively off to a great start, THJ a disaster on both ends so far, the rest decent enough.

Stop saying things like that. Coach saw what you said and changed lineups and Cavs got immediately back

Seriously like clockwork, every single f***ing game. You can't make this **** up anymore.

At this point the weakest link of this team should be painfully obvious even to the FO one should hope...

I was mid post about to say that I was happy that THJ wasn't chucking shots and is actually moving the ball and then he proceeded to chuck a contested 3 :banghead:

How did Mobley get away with that hook. That was insanely obvious.

Two great defensive plays by PJ in the last minute or so. Going straight up and now a tie up to get a jump ball. Really good stuff.

Kidd needs to go...how do you not stand up for your players, lose it,with that decision against Kyrie

Once Max Struss went Tracy McGrady,I knew this game was done
