Stop it.

He throws only fastball and sliders 3-2 you swing at anything close. He hung one to Springer already so Vlad was on for a slider he even took a couple down and away. That was over the plate you have to swing there.

I'm really more concerned about vlads lack of clutchness overall. He keeps missing hittable pitches.

no reason except for the concept called "protecting the plate with 2 strikes" on any borderline pitches

Yea looking at the replay, it was closer than I first thought. Had to take that.

your point? why are you defending him? Merrifield is the better hitter so far.

i'm not asking them to take him out of the lineup. move him down and see if that gets him going.

Maybe Pop is not quite ready for high leverage. Stuff is good enough, command isn't yet.

Around here, we conclude that players are washed by April 7th at the very latest. So by April 19th, Springer -- a career slow starter -- is obviously double-secret washed.

If you're going to a slider there, that's gotta be in the dirt.

The key might be to load the bases after 2 outs

Can we get Berrios back in?
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Man that was a good pitch tough for Pop. I still trust him more than Bass/Mayza/Richards now for sure. Not over Cimber/Swanson/Yimi tho.

See thats rhe same pitch vladdy got and abreu just shortens his swing and pokes it into the outfield. It seems guerreros approach in clutch situations is not ideal.
