Buck called Springer the team's best player the other day. I thought that was surprising, given how much the organization has pumped up Vladdy. But Buck's right. If only Springer could stay healthy. Even still, he's still managed to put up 3.4 bWAR so far.

There’s a difference between being the best hitter and best player. I would say Vladdy is the best hitter, but Springer plays CF. As long as he can only DH, he’s probably not the team’s best player.

Vladdy, Kirk, and Springer are very close in wRC+. Vladdy 143, Kirk 141, Springer 140.

I think Springer is our best player because of his performances in the post season.Vladdy is still learning,as is Bo.
Springers health will determine how far we get.We need him in the lineup to win.We dont without him-imo.
