This is the first time I’ve seen Gausman get the support of an A lineup all year

Didn’t take long for the umpire to cost us a run.

No electronic strike zone costs us again.

Looking like an extended rain delay may be coming anyway though, so we're going to lose Gausman for the day pretty quickly.

That was a bad defensive play with Kirk running.

Screwjob from the umpires now with a balk on a move Gausman does every pitch.

How are they not calling Gausman for a balk every time right now if they called it on the first pitch?

Nelson is the guy who had the worst called game of the year earlier this year against us: https://www.nbcsports.com/bayarea/athletics/umpire-missed-whopping-27-calls-athletics-blue-jays-game-saturday

Also the guy who cost us our season in Kansas City in 2015.

Luckily got some breaks this far, but jesus this team is terrible at not hitting ground balls in those run scoring opportunities.

We always make Orioles starters look like Cy Young contenders when we face them. We need to be able to hit their scrubs before we get to their unhittable bullpen.

Can our idiot manager stop asking people to bunt who can't bunt?

I thought so immediately but that was a tough read there. Probably looked like the pitcher could have gotten that from where he was.

No. Just bad luck. Also, good on Baker to not overreact and flail at it. Trusted his defence.
