Finally got some home games this week felt like every game has been on the road. I think if Bassitt, Berrios and Yusei pitched like they did last time through should be a sweep since we're missing Cease.

Wonder who gets sent down or if there's some phantom IL stint. Probably Pop since Richard's has actually been decent so far and we probably give Bass and Cimber a little more time to figure it out lol.

I gotta assume it's Bass, just to get him out of sight/mind.

Will Pearson get a shot as a SP eventually? Or is it too late for him and a BP role is what his career will become?

I won't say never but his durability concerns lend me to believe he's viewed as a bullpen arm. Which he can be elite at tbh.

The interesting thing for me here isn't no Springer (they like giving our old men in the outfield days off), but rather that instead of moving somebody else to leadoff, they've just moved the whole order up a spot intsead.

White Sox are trash. We need to channel our inner Tampa Bay Rays and start beating up on these scrub teams.

The man the myth the legend

Montoyo is a fan favorite. He’s walking around RF getting loose balls and throwing them to the fans.

Also, the Rogers Landing is pretty awesome for the batting practice and line of sight.

There he is, the worst manager in Jays history.

This will be a debated statement in a few years once Schneider has rounded out his resume.

Until Schneider pinch hits a random scrub to bunt for Alejandro Kirk in a deficit in the 9th, Montoyo will hold that title. That may be coming though.

Schneider frequently makes suboptimal decisions. However, they tend to be much more marginal than Montoyo's. Using your third-best option in high leverage isn't great, but neither is it using your literal worst option. Repeatedly. And only ceasing because management DFA'd them to end the madness.

Rays would be up 9-0 by now against this team, and here we are losing, smh.

Rays thrive against bad teams like the Lowry/DeRozan era Raptors. They will be exposed come playoff time against us.
