Are they though? They're barely handling the Royals, one of the worst teams in the league. These are games going into the 9th/10th inning and KC is throwing out relievers with 9 ERA's. Seattle has the "easier" schedule, but they have some roadblocks along the way.

They’re 19-7 in their last 26.
Jays are 14-12. That’s with incredible pitching

Mariners have issues with bullpen depth, clearly. But they can score, and have pretty good starting pitching.

Jays struggle anytime they need to 3 or more runs. Much tougher to win games imo

I’d rather have the Mariners situation tbh

Jays are built for the playoffs. Elite defence + starting pitching + bullpen. We’ll see if they can score enough to outpace the Mariners. I think they have a good shot.

Tonight is a must-win since the Reds are having a bullpen day.

Bichette not activated (nor obviously in the lineup). Espinal is instead. Not a serious team.

Yes, managing your star shortstop's injury and not pushing him until the team feels he's ready is definitely a mark of unseriousness... :noway:

He got on base 3 times yesterday with 2 hits and a HR after DH'ing successfully the previous day. I expect it wouldn't be too much trouble for him to play the extremely strenuous game of baseball for a few innings tonight (if only as a DH).

Hes a troll, just ignore him. He’ll be crying himself to sleep tonight when the Jays win.

Biggio has been absolutely cooking these days. He deserves it.

Ah, if it isn't the pot calling the kettle black.
