I went to just one game last year and I have no plans to go again this year. Not giving this organization a cent.

I cancelled my Sportsnet subscription this year. I can't support an organization that brings back the coaches and front office/analytics braintrust that continuously make obvious mistakes and has blown two straight post-seasons with idiotic decisions. I sometimes have the game on the radio in the background, with gameday open in a tab.

Almost into May and our two core players in their prime are around a .600 OPS. Kirk, a guy who's hit everywhere he's played, is batting .167.

Is there ever any accountability for the hitting coaches. Seriously, it's absolutely infuriating as a fan that Guillermo has a job. How many more prospects need to fail before the team decides Guillermo is a problem?

IKF is one of this team's better RPs, I'm convinced.

I should also add that the organization is also run by cowards who won't actually demote this guy for real and continue to let this "rehab" stint go on indefinitely.

Question that you might now - On Rehab Manoah would get his full contract. If he gets demoted to the minors, since he is not yet arb-eligible, is there a two-way element to the contract... i.e. after demotion would he get paid less than the league minimum during the days he is in the minors.

Guerrero is absolutely toast. It’s crazy how such a sure fire prospect ended up this bad. It’s gotta be mental at this point. This guy was a potential mvp at like 21 years old and now he’s one of the worst players in the league… and it’s not like he had any major injuries either. It’s so sad. We can all blame atkins and the hitting coaches, but no one was banking on a supposed generational hitter turning into a lemon especially after the 2021 season.

I feel like some team out there will be able to turn his talent into production again. It probably won't be the Jays though.

I'd still like to see how our guys respond to a new voice behind the bench first before we start giving them away for nothing/

He’d get paid a minor league salary and won’t incur service time, which is exactly what he and his agent don’t want and why the entire saga happened last year.

My guess is the Jays don’t want a repeat of that so they are too afraid to demote him.

wow talk about a beatdown! outscored 12 to 2 and outhit 19 to 5. Is this what a $226 million dollar payroll gets you?? lmao.

I feel for the fans who paid a premium to go and see this garbage. This has to be one of the most unliked Blue Jays team ever assembled. Our AAA team is better than these losers.

Embarrassing situation all around, not only for Alek essentially not even being a MLB player anymore but he also has such a big ego he can't go down to the minors for real. Better players than Alek have had to fix themselves down there.

If you look at the Luxury Tax payroll, the Jays are paying into the tax at a payroll of 247 million (just a couple of million shy of the world champs Texas). The farm system is ranked as one of the lower tier farm systems in MLB, when Shapiro bragged in 2015 that he wanted the Jays to rival Tampa and be a top tier farm system consistently.

AA having the last laugh in Atlanta, looking at his NL Pennant and World Series banners. An organization that needs to be cleaned up from top to bottom, if this team is out of it by July after 9 years of Dumb and Dumber (Shapiro and Atkins).
