Grimes is everywhere on defense. I'm shocked yall gave him to us. Guess you needed the offense more then the defense?

Once Thibs has his favorites, forget about it. There were a lot of people who didn't want to lose Grimes. He had a great summer working out with Redick. Knicks offense isn't really easy to play in. Grimes is a rhythm shooter and usually believes in a good shot to a great shot.

Playing the Knicks close in the Garden can't really complain at all with this one. The former Knicks came to play.

Grimes contributing. Gotta give Fournier credit, he's played great.

101 to 101 and the Clutch Cade TO... hate to rip on him because he's been great tonight but just the timing on that and the fact he always seems to tense up a bit when the pressure is on late game.

This game is a battle, Cade looks fatigued down the stretch.

Ivey happily cheering on the team with Grimes out there... you never know for sure how a young guy will handle missing crunch time but good to see him out there on the bench rooting for his teammates.

Great game so far. Isaiah Stewart would have been huge in a game like this.

This has been the most entertaining game of the year for me. Cade playing great most the game. I cant believe how good Grimes is hes one of those guys that embodies badboy basketball.

Theoretically Cade and Grimes are a good backcourt pairing

I'm just waiting for Monty to put in Wiseman and Evbuomwan because it's the last minute in a close game.

Having Grimes locked into a cheap 4th year of his rookie contract next year, looking at worst a good solid rotation piece... is a big win for Weaver preserving our cap space. Same goes to Font who has a cheap cap hold and we can go over the cap after we use our space to sign him to whatever sized deal without impacting anything.

Font + Grimes + our six guys we drafted is a solid 8 but we really need to also add at least a #2 and maybe a #3 guy as well with that $60 million cap space. We're two good starters away from a solid 10 man rotation.
