Brooklyn are in a terrible spot. They might be competing with Chicago for the worst future in the NBA.

They should probably trade Mikal Bridges to Houston for Thompson, Green, and most of their picks back.

He's now at 32% on 4.2 attempts over the past 6 games. Not setting the world on fire but a big improvement from where he was earlier in the season.

Damn man why you gotta do #s I was over here thinking 37% past 5 games or so, lol, but yeah 32% way better than 18% or whatver it was

I didn't catch details, but Muscala was an actual NBA player that knew what he was doing, and to that extent, we had to sign old man version of Taj Gibson to replace him.

Maybe this makes more sense up close because the Pistons make so little sense from afar.

Totally disagree on Wiseman. Tell me his stat line tonight.

Ausar also played 43 minutes tonight to match Bridges 43 minutes. Mikal only scored 13 points on 4-11 shooting.

Wiseman has been horrible on defense in some games he has put up decent points and rebounds, but overall he's been getting better.

Still feels like he gets about one moving screen per game which needs to stop, but overall he's been better on defensive shows, better on pick and rolls, better on help side, etc... He still has a long way to go but he's shown some progress for sure. He still clearly isn't as good as Muscala would be both in knowing how to play/defend and being able to space the floor but Wiseman isn't as awful as he was last year and to start this year he's putting in work and getting better.

Ausar with great D and some awesome highlight reel dunks in this one.

Ausar is pure clamps against anyone that can’t body him. And that caveat will likely disappear in a year or two.

Cade is obviously our lead guy and likely our best player moving forward, but I'm excited for what Ausar can become. His defense is already so elite as a rookie and he has such an instinctual feeling for the game. His three point development is showing and if he can become a consistent outside shooter to add to his mid-range game and ease in getting to the rim then the sky is really the limit.

At the start of the season I picked Ausar to lead our team in mpg. I thought his defense would keep him on the court. But then we buried him on the bench and he was barely seeing any playing time at all. *shrug*

I tuned out at halftime, got annoyed with their close to the first half and had to step out for a while, but nice to see them win. I don't think Cade and Ivey will ever be good defenders but if they can score a bunch they can be a viable backcourt, still skeptical of the fit long term but good game from both.

Green is bad, but their picks back would allow them to take a direction and tank.

Today's my 40th bday and look at what the boys have done for me haha I've been dreaming of a cade and Ivey statline like that for a couple years now.
I'm traveling in Japan so I couldn't watch the game, but I'll check out the highlights later.

I was watching the second half while on a long conference call. I kept having to mute when we made plays.

Hallelujah! Just need to continue to pray the TO's away!
I'm glad to see people like JI find something that gives him strength and keeps him grounded. Seems like a genuinely good dude.

Mr Peanut wrote:Kelser basically called Monty out there with Flynn coming into the game. "He's the 10th player out there tonight, in a key part of the game at the start of the 4th quarter".

Flynn then proceeds to dribble the ball for 15 seconds of the clock leading to a rushed shot and a stop for the Nets.

He's always nice and diplomatic, but Kelser seems to repeat what we've been saying for months.

Return to Detroit Pistons
