Couldn't even get a second-rounder for the former #7 pick. Pistons are simply happy to have a team cover a portion of his salary (if he's claimed*).

Yeah it was probably time to move on. He's had lots of chances and just wasn't cutting it.

I thought somebody would offer at least a bag of chips for a third string point guard. Guess I overvalued him.

Hopefully no one. Unless we're playing guys that year after year are bottom of the league in offense or defense I don't think I need to target anyone.

If Cade gets a max deal, then the expectations on him become greater to become a better leader, defender, etc.... but for this year I doubt I'm complaining about anyone now.
