Duren/R Williams(salary trade)/Tillman
Harris/Stewart/ 2nd round pick
T.Murphy/Thompson/Umude. (Or miles b.)
Sheppard/Grimes/Boeheim
Cade/Ivey/Beverley
That would be a nice start

I really like your thinking but I cant trade or give anything up for timelord, at this point hes shown hes 5o games a season max before he inevitably breaks down. Sucks because hes a really interesting player

I also really like what Robert Williams brings to the table on defense and energy wise but you can only have so many non shooters and Duren + Ausar + Williams is too many.
We really need Ausar to develop that corner three at 33+% so we can have him out there with Duren at the same time and not have teams clog the paint on us.
If we could get Jerami Grant($30), Robert Williams($12.5), and Malcom Brogdon($22.5) for Jaden Ivey ($8) ) I'd strongly consider it as its a better use of our cap space than we'll get with our cap space... Portland might want more tho.
Duren / Williams
Grant / Stew
Ausar / Font
Brogdon / Grimes
Cade / Sasser

I’m not sure why anyone is so sure we’re signing any one particular player. We don’t know multiple important variables, including our draft pick and who’s going to be making these decisions.

He would fit so damn perfect here, it's disgusting. One guy, would completely change the teams outlook.
Fill in the rest with free agents.

Claxton
This is assuming of course the Timberwolves want Duren/Ivey/Ausar/Sasser/pick some combination of these assets.
I know it's not happening, which bums me out, but what the hell.
Sounds like we have interest in Claxton. Good call

Murphy is one of my top targets. What is a realistic deal look like to obtain him?

I love Ingrams game but do we wanna spend big on a player who for his career hasnt averaged 60 games a season? Dudes never consistently healthy.

Well the dude just turned 25 so he fits the timeline, was a DPOY candidate last season, and is like 6th in blocks.Canadafan wrote:zeebneeb wrote:I have beaten this drum into the damn earth, and I'm sure everyone is sick of hearing it, but if there was one player I would cough up just about anything for, it's Naz Reid.

The Pistons haven't had honest rim protection in a long damn time, so it just makes sense.
But yes, thank you. I will take a good call, after 50 bad ones, thats for damn sure.

Here's the writeup in case u missed it.
Nothing better to me than a blocked shot that leads to a fast break bucket. Loved seeing BigBen Sheed a d Salley and Rodman back in the day

I'm having a gut feeling that we're going to trade for Trey Young this summer. It'll be for our 1st straight up or just Cade.

Nooooo don't say for Cade. Keep Cade. Trade our pick with Stewart
They'd likely want Stew Ivey and our pick and I'd probably still do it and we'd still have 40million in cap to fill out team.
I'm still on the Tyus bandwagon though. Rather have him start with Cade and trade ivey and our pick for a forward and sign Monk

They would probably move him to SA for their pick and all their 1st back

Definitely for the money, T Harris is just too passive, he doesn't have any dog in him, he's quite happy to stand around and watch others play.

He scored 0 points in the 2nd half yesterday in a 3 points playoffs loss. He is mentally weak.

All that in a contract year too
I’m not interested in him any longer

We’re definitely seeing why Sixer fans aren’t all that worried about him leaving.
I try not to let a playoff performance color my view too much but I’ll admit yesterday was hard to overlook.
