COLLEGE FOOTBALL WEEK 6 DISCUSSION

Post#1 » by bleu » Sat Oct 7, 2017 6:51 am

Lot of good games this weekend, unfortunately I won't be able to see very many of them. But I'll certainly be following along throughout the day. I'm just hoping for some upsets.

i hope iowa gets back on track and doesn't mess around trying to lose to illinois

i'm told the illini are super bad and this shouldn't be much of an issue, but i've been burned on that before

so illinois fumbles their first play from scrimmage, iowa gets it at the 30 and promptly fumbles it back three plays later

now illinois has driven to the redzone, its going to be that kind of day...

picked it off in the endzone, got lucky they had a td called back on a penalty

bad news is that josey jewell (leader of the defense) went to the locker room - he hit a guy too hard i guess

I thought Iowa would be a bit better than they are this year. Illinois is a really sorry team, they should be blowing them out.

Penn State is scary. Even with Barkley doing absolutely NOTHING for them today, they're still up 17-0 on the road. I don't know how they keep on getting overlooked so badly, they're going to win the B1G and go to the playoff.

eh, this was always going to be a growing pains year (penn st game probably raised expectations too high)

that and iowa has a tendency to play to the level of its competition (up and down)

Iowa State 24 Oklahoma 24. This wasn't supposed to happen like this. My lady's team is Oklahoma, though she's also a big Huskie fan now, too.

Well, the baddest team in the nation plays Cal tonight. Huskies 28 point favorites.

Iowa has done pretty well the last few years. Not like that great 2002-2004 run, but pretty decent. God that loss to PSU. Ouch. I've experienced a few of those as a Husky fan.

Wow! Iowa State upsets Oklahoma. My lady is bummed. On the positive side of things, if the Huskies win tonight, we move up in the polls.
