Since this forum is new and we had all of college football lumped together in the prior incarnation, we can go a bunch of different ways here.
Some ideas I've had that we can do:
1. Separate threads for conferences, like Big 10, Pac 10, SEC, etc.
2. Weekly game threads
3. Recruiting thread
4. Heisman hopefuls/tracker
5. A "Fire the Coach" thread to vent on
Any thoughts or suggestions? This is a real lull time for CFB so we can take our time here.
Also, please direct all draft prospects stuff in the draft forum...

Hmm...big fan of #1. Makes a lot of sense since most of the fans of their team will interact with their other conference teams as well.
#2, makes just as much sense to have only one thread per week for games rather than let every game kind of get their own idolizing thread.
#3...huge fan of this. I think this could be one reason why this board might take off, and would really help enable coast to coast discussion about recruits instead of just biased discussion from only one team's fans.
#4...Makes a lot of sense during the year, and keeps a lot of just random threads from popping up.
#5....Coaching hot seat thread makes a lot of sense as well as that will be the "emotional" thread that could really help keep the board on an even keel.

Lull time?!?! What do you mean? Spring practices should be starting.
Like the conference thread idea. Instead of just a Heisman thread, how about including the other EOY awards (there's a lot out there).
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

I'm a huge advocate of ideas 2 and 4. 1, 3, and 5 seem to be things that could work themselves out in a way, so I wouldn't want to mess with them too much.
Although, 3 could be a good one as soon as Signing Day rolls back around again.

A lot of the NFL team boards will probably have an OT thread...
I know I plan to start an LSU thread on the Saint's board eventually.
