Who's Better, Darren McFadden or Steve Slaton?

Post#1 » by ShauNx1477 » Mon Jul 30, 2007 2:01 am

Who do you guys think is better, RB Darren McFadden For Arkansas or RB Steve Slaton for West Virginia. Heres some stats:

Steve Slaton:
Freshman year: 205 rushes for 1128 yards, 5.5 yards per carry and 17 TDs
12 receptions for 95 yards and 2 TDs.

Sophomore: 248 rushes for 1744 yards, 7 yards per carry and 16 TDs
27 receptions for 360 yards and 2 TDs
10, 100 + Yards rushing games + 2 200 + yard games

Total: 453 rushes for 2872 yards. 6.3 yards per carry and 33 TDs
39 receptions for 455 yards and 4 TDs

Darren McFadden:
Freshman year: 176 rushes for 1113 yards. 6.3 yards per carry and 11 TDs
14 receptions for 52 yards and 0 TDs

Sophomore: 284 rushes for 1647 yards. 5.8 yards per carry and 14 TDs
7-9 passing for 69 yards and 3 TDs
11 receptions for 149 yards and 1 TD
7 100 + Rushing Yard Games

Total: 460 rushes for 2760 yards, 6 yards per carry and 25 TDs
25 receptions for 201 yards and 1 TD
8-11 passing for 82 yards and 3 TDs
22 kick returns for 610 yards and 1 TD

I know McFadden plays in a toucher division, but, I mean idk 7 yards per carry is really good, plus 10 100 + yard games and 2 200 yard games by Slaton. I dont know, I think Slaton is better. Hes faster, more explosivness, but he cant pass like McFadden can thats why Slaton is a W. Who do you think is better? BTW how much better is Arkansas' dvision that WV's division

Big East vs SEC is a joke comparison to begin with. McFadden is a much better back.
First the federal government borrowed money; then gave the money to Bank of America; then I borrowed some of that money from Bank of America and gave it to the federal government; then the federal government gave the money back to Bank of America.

Darren McFadden. I won't say by a landslide since Slaton is an awesome running back, but McFadden is just too versatile.
