And, drumroll please......

The Glorious Return of WEFFPIM'S TIDBITS!!!!!
-The most exciting thing heading into this series is, of course, the Brewers being able to see the Phillie Phanatic. That guy is SAHWEET. He looks like a green anteater on steroids and rides a 4-wheeler around likes he's eluding a fire.......and this just in......there's actually a game tonight....so......yay.
-If you look real close, you can see that the Brewers have the best winning percentage in baseball. Behind the Roger Clemens story, the Red Sox success, the failure of the Yankees and the Cubs, the Mets doing exactly what they've been expected to do, the Golden State Warriors, Terrell Owens doing nothing, Brett Favre taking a dump, the NHL actually holding playoffs, the European Soccer League doing something, Ann Coulter, glaciers melting somewhere on this doomed planet, a comet that may come within 5 million miles of earth in the next 15 years, and the upcoming rature, the Brewers have been recognized for the best record in baseball by the media.
-I'm taking a breather after the last tidbit, you compensate by laughing a lot.
-Ever seen the remake of War of the Worlds? OK, picture what happens to people when that laser beam thing hits them, and apply to that when Jamie Moyer gets hit by a line drive in the 5th inning.
-Chase Utley has been known as the dirtiest player in the league, but that is not an excuse for him to start catapulting children in a brick wall.
-In honor of Shrek the Third coming out on Friday, Kevin Mench will dye himself green because, face it, he's already halfway there.
-Dave Bush sucks.

That's all for today, here's to doing more tomorrow.

Good Luck, Dave, Lord knows you'll need it...and Go Brewers

not trying to single you out, just wondering what people in general thought of Bush...I know last year his whip was killer, this year i don't know, but a lot of 'experts' have pegged him to be a sleeper for killer years more than once. whats going on and what should we expect? will he end up pitching in the bullpen to bring up yo? will he even out and pitch real well? i think if we want gallardo up later in the year and we can move bush to the pen, we don't have to trade for relief help and can get a big bat (if we even need/want it). what about anyone else?

I would be sad if we only got one day of WEFFPIM's tidbits and since we don't often lose two in a row, I am predicting a big win. Plus Bush pitched a bad game last time and he is one of those guys who alternates between good games and bad games so he should pitch good tonight. However old @$$ Moyer is scary even though his fastball tops out at about 35 mph these days. Every start of his has been a quality start thus far so if we can't jump on him for a few runs early, we could have some trouble scoring runs. I just pray someone besides our pitcher gets a hit before the 9th inning in this game. That last one was brutal against Perez.

Stupid ass play by Weeks. Tries to go from 2nd to 3rd with 2 outs and Prince coming up and gets thrown out. :nonono:

Can you think of a pitcher that Bill Schroeder hasn't said the Brewers should go the opposite way with? God, drill that one in my head more, Bill.

We need to score some more runs.. i dont feel comfortable at all with this score. Especially with the way Bush has been pitching this season (even though I have all the man love you can for that guy).

Even if a pitcher was pitching inside he'd want them to take it to the opposite field, even if it meant a popup to 2nd.

Damn Burrell with a homer 2-1 Phillies.

That foul to left Burrell hit was mammoth. Nothing wrong with the pitch choice from Estrada or Bush, but he left it up, and Bill must have wet himself when he went to right center

Bush is a pretty good hitter. At least he has that going for him this season. I really think he will start hitting his spots though. He was to good last season to not start playin better.
