Maybe the Clippers might be the ones to trade PG if these are the results.

Or maybe, the Clippers win the title and losses like that are part of the setbacks an NBA regular season campaign can have.

Kind of tired of free agents signing with the Heat.

I don't even get the signing. Mills would be third on the depth chart with the Heat? Is there some other reason? Maybe he is interested in staying there next season and wants a head start on being familiar with the organization?

The Heat are an awesome ball club. I’d be a fan of theirs if I wasn’t full blown Golden State (and also if Seattle weren’t around, always be my 2nd fav). The Heat are a fantastic free agent destination.

Pelicans are rolling. Herb Jones may be the best value in the league with his extension and fact he's now a 40+ 3% shooter... I'd trade the farm for him but he's definitely untouchable.

Also can't help but keep thinking about how Kuminga/Moody dropping in that draft kept dubs from potentially having the two players I wanted that whole draft process, Franz and Trey. Kuminga and Moody are coming around though and younger so they could still pass those guys up (just becoming urgent with Steph/Dray age).

There were some advocates of trading for Ben Simmons.

The Ringer NBA podcast host said he visited the Nets practice and saw Simmons just hanging out with some visitors.

He didn't seem to be interested in rehabbing to return to play any time soon.

They didn't think he'd get any substantial contract again.

He seemed to like all the perks of being an NBA player but not necessarily working to improve or even remain an NBA player.

He's already earned a lot of money so he may not even care if he never gets another deal.

Sounds like he didnt offer enough back in terms of the buyout for the Jazz to play ball

Veterans will take notice of this. Or more likely, agencies will. Stupid strategy by Ainge tbh, but maybe he's already acknowledging that stars wont come there in free agency anyways
