Kuminga is just a horrible rebounder.

Steve Kerr compared Kuminga to Shawn Marion and when Kuminga and when Kuminga drives he does remind me a bit of Marion, maybe better than Marion. Kuminga is, big, strong, fast as hell and jumps high and has good body control so he should be a good rebounder with his physical gifts and the aggression he shows on drives. But Kuminga is a bad rebounder. The main thing I have noticed is that all the other players are on their 2nd step towards the rebound before Kuminga takes his first step towards the rebound. What could make Kuminga have such a slow reaction time towards rebounds?

Can Kuminga achieve rebounding improvement by training on reacting to rebound?
Fire balls out of a cannon at the rim and have Kuminga spend an hour a day just grabbing rebounds.

You kinda have to because the team is committed to him eventhough he doesn't provide much outside of scoring. And sometimes his offense is more valuable than his lack of defense amd rebounding. Problem is you have the exact same player in klay, they just get their offense differently.

Kerr’s offense is built around Curry. He never expanded it to include a second option. Even the second option plays are built around Curry.

There is no reason for Kuminga to stand in the corner for most of the game like he did. He should either be driving or operating in the post. If JK operate in the post, surround him with outside shooters, when he draws two, someone will be open for three, so they either guard JK or leave three point shooters open. There was a lot of passing around with nothing happening besides turnovers.

Paul Klay should play in the second unit for consistency. Saric shouldn’t play unless there is a lead for point shaving purposes.
