I've read he's really bad now, but we rejuvenated his career before and this time we only need him sparingly. CP3 lob buddy.

CP3 made Jevale looked good in Phoenix.

Luca got a lot of assists, but no CP3 making Jevale useful.

Big risk, coming off an 8 game season and foot surgery. Just because he had one healthy season for the Warriors, doesn't mean it's likely to happen again.

Assuming no other moves, filling the 14th spot, which they have to do of course, with a minimum salary will cost about $15.6M, salary + tax. Considering that, they may want to minimize the risk as much as possible.

If we are only going to have a 14 man roster then take the best defending center. TJD is too young and Saric is not a defender.

We are all set at the other 4 positions. A mediocre center can help the Warriors more than a good player at any other position can help the Warriors assuming Klay will be good. If Klay is going to play poorly then the Warriors are not tittle contenders anyway so nothing we do matters. So bet on Klay being good and get a defensive center so we can compete for a championship without needing TJD or Saric to play better defense than we can reasonably expect from them. If Klay plays well we don’t need offense from the center position other than screen setting.

Austin Rivers still a free agent. Always liked him as a backup guard.

Saw that.

Career 38.4% from 3 in the regular season and 39.3 in the playoffs, on 6 3PAs.

Got some length, willing defender, but obviously spot-up shooting is his main thing.

He averaged 40 MPG in the playoffs and 7.3 3PA in the playoffs for Mavs when they reached the WCF.

He had an okay regular season last year, a bit below his averages.

I always liked him, but he'd have to really want to come to the Warriors. He'll get offers.

Reggie Bullock would be an amazing signing but like others have said, he should get better offers.

I would think most playoffs teams would look to sign him to a minimum.

Most of them don't have a lot of cap space either.

Also Spurs probably tried to trade him and no team was biting, willing to give up real assets for him.

Since he got bought out, he's going to be looking for another contract next year so he wants to go where he would be showcased.

He will be 33 in the free agent market next July.

He played 30 MPG for the Mavs last season so he probably wants a chance to start, to get bigger contract.

I doubt he's better than most wings on playoffs teams.

I dont think its a given he wants more minutes, or even the same amount as in Dallas. I mean he just came off a season of doing that, and no one wanted to trade for him on a 1 year contract.

If he's smart, he goes to a team that's the best fit for him. Even if its a 15 mpg role, excelling in that > struggling in 30.. but also because he's entering the market in almost October, so teams already have made plans for their positions and won't have much invested in him, so cutting him or benching him is more likely than a team with his bird rights or a multi-year contract

I'd wager he lands on the Lakers, Bucks or Nuggets. All 3 teams could use him in a small role but play directly to his strengths
