The only thing that would make sense would be to trade Jack for Artest for a couple of reasons. If we did get Artest and kept Harrington, where would we play Jack, at the 2? Harrington at the 4 and Artest at the 3, that would be pretty interesting. With Artest you don't lose Jacks defense but you gain his rebounding (our weakness). I don't think we're ready to give up Monta, at least I hope not. Doesn't seem likely. Haing Jack and Ron on the same team against doesn't seem like it would be a wise move.

Trading Jack right now is one of the dumbest moves I've read here for quite some time.

Artest on the Warriors makes sense in alot of ways.

But to trade Jack for him is not a good move. Behind Baron and Monta, Jack is arguably our best ballhandler.

He and Baron have a special thing going.

Artest would fit in immediately, but we'd be better off with Al and Jax staying put with Ronnie. You could move Jack between the 2 and 3. Ronnie bounces from the 3 and 4, Al bounces from the 4 and 5.

Rebounding wouldn't necessarily improve, but the defense would.

The only way I could see it happening is for us to use the exception. That way we keep the chemistry together and add one seriously good player.

We'd probably have to include a draft pick as well.

Doubt Sac trades with us, but for this year it could put us into the next tier.

I want Baron, Jack, Artest, and Harrington all to play together.

Oh well, I doubt anything is going to happen.

But we can top a Balkman offer easily if we wanted.

Dont know where you got your info from, but Artest is currently as light as he ever was at 245. After the suspension Artest admitted to getting as high as 280 and had been playing at 260-270. I dont exactly understand how he's a "tweener F" as you stated. If anything he's at an advantage on both ends. On defense he's quick enough to stay with SFs and strong enough to guard PFs. Offensively he's too quick for PFs and too strong for SFs.

Then keep him.
