The New look Mavericks have been great in March. Adding PJ Washington & Daniel Gafford helped boost their front court with rookie Lively II

Around the NBA
- Lakers (42-33) @ Raptors (23-51)
- Rockets (38-36) @ Wolves (51-23)
- Clippers (47-27) @ Kings (43-31)

Huge game! If we can beat the surging Mavs I'm back on board.

Hope wiggins shows up. We need him on both ends tonight, particularly if JK is out again

8 games left, and we would be lucky if we manage to hang on to the 10th seed.

Very difficult situation.

Battle of the two teams with the longest current winning streaks in the league.

Time to show up and show out. They really should aim to go 8-0 and therefore finish with a 12-0 finishing kick to end the regular season to strike fear and dread in any doubters out there.

The very narrow/unlikely path that leads to the 8th seed probably requires the following tonight:

- Kings lose to Clippers
- Dubs handle business against Mavs (although just getting at least 1 of the 2 games against them is doable)

We essentially need to go 6-2 or better while Lakers somehow lose 3 with an easy schedule, and Kings stumbling with injuries to a 3-5 finish (really tough schedule for them).

suns also have an awful schedule down the stretch. There's a not-impossible road to lal and gsw finishing 7 and 8.

Yup very true. Although their win against pelicans last night was massive.

The hope is that the Suns end up 9th and the Lakers finish 8th as well as win their playin game. Lakers are a matchup nightmare vs the Warriors.

Clippers are going to be without Kawhi tonight. Kings favored by 2.5. Rooting for the Clippers to take this one.

Thats another reason its such a shame the Warriors have put themselves in a spot to possibly not make the playoffs... you never know what can happen in terms of matchups... could totally see scenarios where as an 8 seed you get a jump on an inexperienced Thunder team, then end up against a worn down Leonard or Luka in round 2.... all of a sudden a bad year can turn into a WCF chance. Its not out of question but Warriors basically need to be perfect from here on out.

Aren't we 2-1 against the lakers and 1-3 against the suns?

They are but I still would much prefer the Suns. One of the 2 wins the Warriors had was with AD leaving due to injury last game for example. Not saying they can't win, but the match up issues going inside vs AD & Lebron, along with the gross refereeing advantage they will have for every game makes it more difficult.

Indeed. On the other hand: a healthy Suns team can pose some real matchup issues for us and I'm not sure Klay and Dray have their emotions under enough control to see Nurk and Book in a single elimination game. How about we get the 8th seed, Kings hang on to the 7 and we beat Sac to clinch the 7 seed and play OKC or Minny?

It really is, which is why it was bs that Dray was suspended indefinitely. Add in all the games we threw away and a 5 game difference really isn't hard to see and we're talking about possibly a 4 seed. LMAO.
